Our Partners

McDonald’s, a mission partner, played a vital role at the inception of both the Ronald McDonald House Bangor and Portland. After more than three decades, Ronald McDonald House Charities (Ronald McDonald House Maine), local McDonald’s Owner/Operators, and our community remain committed to supporting our programs. Each year, Ronald McDonald House Maine Maine receives its support from the Owner/Operators of the 65 McDonald’s restaurants in the Maine and Northern New Hampshire region.

This funding comes from in-store donation boxes, Happy Meal sales, and other annual gifts and promotions. Involvement extends beyond monetary support:

• McDonald’s Owner/Operators participate as members of our Board of Directors.
• McDonald’s Owner/Operators and their suppliers raise money and awareness through in-store promotions and fundraising events.
• Local McDonald’s employees serve as dedicated volunteers and brand ambassadors.

The remainder of our annual budget comes from the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations.
