McDonald’s, our mission partner, played a vital role at the inception of both Ronald McDonald Houses in Bangor and Portland. After more than three decades, Ronald McDonald House Charities (Ronald McDonald House Maine), local McDonald’s Owner/Operators, their employees and their customers, and our community remain committed to supporting our programs and services. Each year, Ronald McDonald House Maine receives its support from 60 McDonald’s restaurants in Maine and 4 in northern New Hampshire.
This funding comes from donation boxes, Happy Meal sales, Round-Up, events, and in-store fundraisers, as well as other promotions. In addition to monetary support:
Every time you visit a local McDonald’s restaurant, you can help support families with ill and injured children by asking to Round-Up for Ronald McDonald House Maine when you place your order on the kiosk, in the app, with a crew member at the counter, or drive-thru.
Asking to round up your total to the nearest dollar may not seem like much, but when many give, those small donations add up and have the power to change a child’s life.
This funding comes from donation boxes, Happy Meal sales, events, and in-store fundraisers, as well as other promotions. In addition to monetary support:
From April to September, during the Sea Dogs baseball season, the St. John Street McDonald’s generously donates 20 parking spots. For a $15 donation, fans can park safely just steps away from Hadlock Field.
With your support, we have the opportunity to raise $300 each game to help keep families close! Next time you plan to attend a Sea Dogs game, please consider parking in the McDonald’s parking lot at 332 St. John Street in Portland!
We have a self-signup system; take a look here. Please contact Mike Sickles if you have any questions!
